BEGIN AGAIN: SONOMA WEEKEND RETREAT
NOVEMBER 6-8, 2026 • RATNA LING RETREAT CENTER • CAZADERO, CA
<< REGISTRATION OPEN >>
Every practice begins the same way: You arrive. You breathe. You begin.
No matter what happened before - a season of life, a relationship, a conversation, a choice - it is never too late to begin again. As long as you are alive, you can choose to feel your feet on the ground and start from right here and right now.
On the mat, on the cushion, in our daily lives - we forget, we get distracted, we mess up.
Fall over in tree pose? Rebalance and try again. Doomscrolling? Put the phone down. Look up.
The mind wanders in meditation? Notice and come back. Repeat.
The practice, we discover, is in the return.
In Buddhism, the word sati, which is commonly translated as mindfulness, means to remember.
The timeless wisdom traditions remind us that the most profound transformation happens in the small and steady acts of returning - to the breath, to the body, to presence - and remembering - who you are, why you’re here, what truly matters.
Join me in the tranquil redwood forests of Sonoma County for a weekend of deep nourishment and renewal. Rooted in the themes of mindfulness, compassion and letting go, we’ll explore what it means to BEGIN AGAIN, finding our way back to the present moment, again and again and again.
This retreat is intentionally designed to support your whole being. Each session weaves together embodied movement, healing breathwork, guided meditation and dharma conversations with space for quiet reflection. You will have plenty of time to rest in your private cottage, gather as a community over delicious meals, and explore the property or hiking trails in the surrounding area.
