I created Path to Peace at the end of 2020 in response to what I sensed was a collective desire to connect deeply within. Year after year, we have gathered together online, finding our way back to the present moment, over and over again. As Path to Peace continues to evolve and grow, I am excited to offer a new 4-week online program for those who are looking to dive deeper into the teachings of MINDFULNESS.

In this 4-week series, you will explore the fundamentals of mindfulness meditation and discover a practical path to clarity, connection and peace. Through lecture and practice, you will learn how to cultivate a wise and loving relationship with your body, mind and heart. In a small group setting, you will have the opportunity to share and reflect with like-minded individuals, supporting one another on our journey of awakening.

Every session will include:
• A short talk on key teachings in mindfulness
• Direct experience with guided meditation practice
• Self-reflection, group discussion and Q&A
• Suggestions for integrating mindfulness into daily life

Anyone interested in learning more about mindfulness meditation and living with presence and peace. Please note this is a small group offering limited to 14 participants.

REQUIREMENTS
In order to participate, please commit to attending all 4 live sessions.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Session 1: Mindfulness as a Path to Peace
The power of mindfulness to bring clarity, peace and freedom into your life
What is mindfulness, benefits and common misconceptions about meditation
Establish anchors for mindfulness with the breath and in the body

Session 2: Being Fully Human
Expand your capacity to navigate the full emotional spectrum of being human
See the changing nature of feelings, learn to respond vs. react
Use the RAIN method to support challenging emotions

Session 3: Our Storytelling Minds
Become consciously aware of and interrupt the trance of thinking
Disentangle yourself from your stories, “you don’t have to believe your thoughts”
Learn to notice and label thoughts without judgement

Session 4: Living with Heart
Explore the Four Divine Abodes of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, equanimity
Incorporate loving-kindness practice to care for yourself and others
Bring your practice into the world: practical tips and application of mindfulness


Path to Peace is a true gift; it is accessible enough each day to be manageable and long enough to feel like I could really quiet my mind and explore meditation in a real way.
